How review and moderation works

Every upload is reviewed before it goes live: quality, rights and metadata. Most reviews complete quickly; rejections always come with a note.

Every upload is checked by a human reviewer before it appears in the library. Review covers three things:

  • Rights — you must own the work or hold a licence that allows redistribution. Anything else is rejected, and repeat problems close accounts.
  • Quality — focus, exposure, stability and clean audio, at the standard editors expect from stock.
  • Metadata — titles, tags and filmmaker fields that describe what is actually in the frame.

Statuses

  • Pending — in the queue.
  • Approved / Featured — live in the library (featured assets get extra placement).
  • Rejected — not published; the reviewer's note under My uploads says why, and you can fix and re-upload.

Downloads, views and likes on your approved assets appear on each asset page and feed the contributor leaderboard.
