Brollvia MCP for Claude
Anthropic
Claude.ai connectors and Claude Desktop — the client we run against production ourselves.
MCP client guide · October 2026
Cascade gains a licensed library via mcp_config.json.
Standard MCP connection — this guide follows Windsurf (Codeium)'s documented MCP setup. We have not live-verified this client yet, so it does not carry the verified badge.
Windsurf (Codeium) · Editors & IDEs · Server URL: https://brollvia.com/mcp
Windsurf's Cascade agent reads MCP servers from a single config file and supports remote servers over HTTP/SSE with OAuth. Add Brollvia and Cascade can pull licensed footage, photos, music and SFX into the projects it is building — searching the library, filling shot-list collections and downloading originals with the licence paperwork handled by the server, not by you.
This is a standard listing: the steps follow Windsurf's documented MCP setup (its config uses "serverUrl" for remote servers), our server implements the protocol and discovery, but the live verification run inside Windsurf has not happened yet — Claude is the verified client on this site.
Save as ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"brollvia": {
"serverUrl": "https://brollvia.com/mcp"
}
}
}Real prompts, using the real tools — search, script-to-B-roll, collections and licence lookups:
Cascade, find licensed B-roll of a potter's hands at a wheel and download the best clip to the project.
Create a Brollvia collection "App tour backgrounds" with six calm, loopable office shots.
Get the licence verification link for the track you just downloaded.
"serverUrl" for remote servers in mcp_config.json. The MCP ecosystem never standardised the key name, which is why every page on this hub prints the exact snippet for its client rather than one generic block — copying another client's variant into Windsurf is the classic failure.
Yes, within the scopes you approved and your plan's limits. Downloads write the same licence records as the website, are audit-logged to your account, and can be revoked by disconnecting the app in Brollvia's Connected apps.
Not live-verified by us yet — standard status, following Windsurf's documented flow. When our production run happens, this page gets the badge; until then, we would rather label it honestly.
Same server, same URL — every guide below is that client's real setup. The full grid lives on the MCP hub.
