Connecting Cursor and Claude Code (API key)
File-based MCP clients take a static header config with your API key. Generate a key, paste the generated config, restart the client.
Developer tools that read a config file (Cursor, Claude Code and similar) connect with an API key as a bearer header — no OAuth dance needed.
Steps
- Create a key in Settings → Developer with the scopes you need (read is enough for search-only).
- The Developer page generates the exact MCP config snippet for your key — use its copy button and paste it into your client's MCP config file.
- Restart the client; Brollvia's tools (search_assets, get_asset, download_asset, …) appear in its tool list.
Safety
Treat the key like a password: it can act as your account within its scopes. Keep it out of shared repos, and revoke it from the Developer page if it leaks.
