Script-to-B-roll turns a script into a shot list. It is a Pro feature on the web, in the API and in MCP (the suggest_broll_for_script tool).
On the web
- Open Script to B-Roll from your dashboard.
- Paste your script or scene text — each line becomes a beat.
- Review the matched asset per beat, swap alternatives where offered, and save the picks as a collection (shot list).
- Export the shot list as CSV, PDF, FCP7 XML or CMX3600 EDL for your editor.
Tips
- One visual idea per line matches best — split long descriptive lines.
- Mention shot types in the text (“wide aerial of…”) and the matcher will use them.
- Downloads still follow your plan and produce licence records, whichever surface you use.
