AI-generated media on Brollvia

How AI generation works on Brollvia: credits, the AI-generated label on cards, pages and certificates, the search AI filter, and the moderation rules for publishing a generation.

Brollvia can create media as well as license it. When a shot does not exist yet — a search comes back empty, or a scene is easier to describe than to find — members can generate it with AI, and the platform itself generates shots to fill real search gaps. Generated media is integrated, not smuggled in: it is labelled everywhere, priced openly, and held to the same review standards as camera footage.

How generation works

  1. Open Generate and describe the shot (video 5s or 10s, or an image; 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1).
  2. The price in credits is shown before you submit. Generation runs in the background — the finished file lands in My generations, usually within a couple of minutes.
  3. Download it for your own use straight away (it is your file — no licence record is needed), or publish it to the library (below).

Credits

Generation is paid for with credits, bought in packs on the Generate page (for example 20 credits or 120 credits — the current packs and prices are shown there). Default prices are 4 credits for a 5-second video, 7 for 10 seconds and 1 for an image; the page always shows the live price before you submit. Credits never expire. If a generation fails, its credits are refunded automatically. Platform-generated shots (the ones Brollvia creates to fill search gaps) never touch member credits — they are paid from the platform's own monthly generation budget.

Labelling — non-negotiable

  • Every generated asset carries an AI-generated badge on its card and its asset page.
  • Search can include AI content, exclude it, or show only AI content — the filter is on the search page, and the API exposes the same ai_generated flag.
  • Licence certificates for AI assets print an AI note: generated media may depict fictional scenes, places and people, and carries no warranty that it depicts real events. In all other respects the standard Brollvia Licence applies.

Publishing a generation to the library

From My generations, Publish to the library turns a finished generation into a contributor asset owned by you — flagged AI-generated, with the prompt visible to moderators. It enters the same moderation queue as camera uploads and goes public only if a moderator approves it. Nothing generated appears in the library unreviewed.

What you cannot generate

Prompts describing abusive or unlawful content are rejected before anything is charged, and the generation provider's own moderation applies as a backstop. Publishing a generation does not transfer any rights in real people, brands or places it might resemble — the usual contributor agreement applies in full.
